Jessica McClintock is a teacher by profession. Her tailoring skills came from her seamstress grandmother. She started her own company in California in the year 1969. In the beginning, she designed clothes under the brand Gunne Sax. Later on, she put up her own fashion line under her name. Thus, began a huge fashion enterprise that specializes in women’s dresses and wedding gowns.
