Civilians often use military sunglasses for advanced eye protection, because design is considered the best adapted for the exposure to the elements. This is why, they require the presence of superior features besides the shared functions like the complete blockage of sun radiation and anti-glare properties. First of all, the practical nature of the usage leaves virtually no room for fashion: military sunglasses need to be functional and resistant, both in terms of frames and lenses.
Given the numerous and diverse missions with day and night operations, military sunglasses often feature interchangeable lenses that meet the standards of Military Fragmentation. Polycarbonate lenses are used almost exclusively because they are shatterproof and lightweight.
Since all the radiations in the UV spectrum are kept away from the eye by the polycarbonate lenses, blurred vision and eye dryness are no longer related to sun exposure. Even the frames of military sunglasses have to be designed according to durability standards that allow easy shock absorption for a prolonged usage.
Field operations, the impossibility to care for the eyewear constantly and the action of the elements can put a lot of stress on military sunglasses, and unless they are well designed they will not last for extended wear. There are some further elements that distinguish military sunglasses from other casual eyewear available in regular stores.

Hip hop jewelry, also known as ‘bling-bling’ became so popular back in the days the ‘rap’ style entered the music scene. Hip hop stars started wearing fancy jewelry that ranged from rings to pendants and earrings, which in turn gave birth to the name ‘hip hop jewelry’. If you go back in time to the 50’s, artists such as Tom Jones and Elvis Presley were famous for their extravagant pieces of jewelry. But this totally changed when the hip hop culture entered the market. What we see today is a result of what hip hop artists like B.G portrayed in the past.
Unlike the past where a certain piece of hip hop jewelry used to last for a few weeks, today designs are changed the minute a hip hop record hits the chart and their favorite star changes his or her style. Wearing the most fashionable ‘bling bling’ or piece of hip hop jewelry could actually boost or deflate your reputation based on the fans you have; if you are a celebrity of course! A variety of cuts and styles is what you get if you go to a shop that sells hip hop jewelry. You’d have to spend hours in selecting one, as each piece is exquisite.
If you look at your favorite hip hop artists on the catwalk, red carpet or in their music videos, you’d see them wearing all sorts of hip hop jewelry made out of various metals and stones. It was actually Platinum jewelry that was used by most hip hop artists in the late 90’s. Later on Gold replaced this trend giving out the best we see today with an array of diamonds and other precious stones fixed to it.
Although each year we saw a change in the metals and stones used for various pieces of hip hop jewelry, one thing is certain. Over the years, hip hop jewelry has sustained its beauty and charm. Today we not only see chains and rings, celebrities even have belts and watches with their names engraved on it. Many celebrities use their hip hop jewelry as a status symbol. It is who they are. And this is what their loyal fans like. It has withstood time and still remains in the hearts of many who fancy such jewelry.

Today’s trends and fashions are not suitable for everyone. Sometimes, we can start to feel a little lousy when we don’t keep up with the latest trends, but there really is no need to. It is more important to invest in styles that will last and work for your body type than it is to follow fashion.
It is important to feel good about yourself before you start shopping. Accepting your body the way it is will help you make the best fashion choices and will lead to having a much more enjoyable shopping trip.
Make sure you only look for clothes in your size and not some size you wish to be in the future. Feel good about who you are now. Don’t be discouraged by shopping in the plus sizes if you have to or going a few sizes up from what you would like to wear. Buying clothes that actually fit you will make you feel better than squeezing into something that does not fit.
More often than not, when we go shopping and buy clothes, they do not fit as well as we wish. This happens for people with all kinds of body types, including skinny people. Just remember that you can always have your clothes altered, or alter them yourselves if you know how to sew.

Today’s trends and fashions are not suitable for everyone. Sometimes, we can start to feel a little lousy when we don’t keep up with the latest trends, but there really is no need to. It is more important to invest in styles that will last and work for your body type than it is to follow fashion.
Accept yourself for who you are before you start adding new clothes to your wardrobe. If you go shopping and are not comfortable with your body type and shape, you most likely will hate every piece of clothing you try.
When you go shopping, shop for what you look like now and not what you hope to look like at some point in the future. You don’t want to end up buying a ton of clothes that you might never fit into. Also, try not to let the sizes get to you. If you need a larger size or a plus size, don’t feel bad or embarrassed. Getting something that fits you really well is more important than the label. It will also make you feel good when you wear it.
There is a good chance that whatever you buy won’t fit perfectly. Don’t worry, this is normal for people of all shapes and sizes. If you need something to be altered, you can take it to a tailor. If you already know how to sew, you can do it yourself.
